Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Risk Management - Operational Risk Challenge & Advisory to partner with business teams, identify risks, and implement controls. This 2nd line risk role sits in ORCA, collaborating with BRO and IRM to challenge and improve risk processes.

You will document findings, perform data analysis, and advise on remediation plans while building trusted relationships across risk offices. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in risk-related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Finance, or Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line effective challenge and advice to the 1st line on risk assessment processes.
• Document results and perform data analysis to identify risks and remediation progress.
• Act as SME to BRO and IRM in operational risk assessments.
• Collaborate across Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit to meet objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with first-line Business Risk Offices.
• Participate in team efforts in ORCA and understand Risk and Control Standards.
