Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Massachusetts offers a Spring 2027 co‑op to support Operational Risk modernization through AI, automation, data analytics and process improvement. This hybrid role runs Jan 4, 2027 to Jun 18, 2027, with 1–2 days weekly in our Wellesley office, and provides exposure to senior leaders shaping enterprise‑level initiatives across risk, governance and resilience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in: Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems Business Analytics Engineering Business Administration Risk Management Related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly; curiosity, creativity, and a passion for solving business problems.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, process improvement, or digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and digital solutions to Operational Risk processes.
• Prototype and test AI-enabled tools using Copilot and related technologies.
• Design dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Support transformational initiatives across risk programs.
