Job summary

FM, a long-established mutual insurance company, invites you to join the Underwriting Systems & Analytics team for a Spring 2027 co-op. You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, gaining hands-on experience with underwriting operations, analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled tools.

As part of the team, you will help modernize data processes, analyze information, and collaborate with stakeholders across Underwriting, Operations, and IT.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; candidates from other backgrounds with related skills may apply.
• Ability to work full time during Spring internship and commute to the office location.
• Strong verbal and written communication; analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity and interest in leveraging technology and AI to solve business problems.
• Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and present recommendations clearly.
• Exposure to AI tools or machine learning concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of business, data, and technology in underwriting analytics.
