Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Program Manager to lead data-driven risk reporting, loss data governance, and analytics across the organization. You will partner with Operational Risk, Technology, and business units to improve reporting, data quality, and control effectiveness.

The role requires 5+ years in risk or related fields, strong Tableau/Office skills, and the ability to deliver executive-level insights to senior management and boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business,Finance,Risk Management,Accounting,Economics,Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in Operational Risk or related financial services discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, loss event management, indicators, reporting and governance.
• Experience turning large data sets into actionable risk insights and executive reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Ability to prepare and present to senior management and boards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey complex risk concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborates across Risk, Technology, Finance, Audit and Business functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk reporting to executives, management, and risk committees.
• Perform analytics to identify trends, risks, and themes for decision-making.
• Support data quality governance for operational loss data and remediation.
• Enhance reporting via automation, visualization, and process improvement.
• Support audit, regulatory, and ad-hoc inquiries.
• Partner with Technology to implement system enhancements for risk data and reporting.
• Contribute to initiatives strengthening risk management, analytics, governance, and reporting.
• Provide SME guidance on data standards and reporting requirements.
• Build partnerships with Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology, and business lines.
• Assist in developing operational risk and compliance training programs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support program enhancements.
