Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a data analytics professional to support data and technology requests, build complex reports, and model risk and loss trends. You will work with Technology to implement data solutions and partner with risk teams to meet regulatory and internal requirements.

The role emphasizes data design, governance, and collaboration across data stewards, owners and users, with opportunities to influence dashboards and reports used by senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, systems analysis, information systems or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience with Data Sourcing, Data Wrangling, Data Engineering or related role.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and execution of reporting to enable Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk.
• Analyzes trends and supports data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics.
• Provides analytical support on product initiatives affecting multiple Risk functions and lines of business.
• Develops database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining.
• Responds to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties.
• Supports data quality remediation across teams.
• Monitors controls outputs and investigates alerts from control checks.
