Job summary

Bank OZK is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to contribute to the Bank's ORM program by implementing standards, educating teams, and coordinating risk assessments. The role involves analyzing events, driving process improvements, and producing management reports to support governance and risk oversight.

The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.
• Minimum of one year in financial services with focus on operational risk management, internal audit, or enterprise risk management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports policies, standards, guidelines, tools, models, and procedures for ORM activities.
• Implements and educates on ORM policies to support the program bank-wide.
• Educates business units on risk identification, end-to-end processes, risk ratings and controls.
• Performs root cause analysis on risk events and losses to drive improvements.
• Maintains risk assessments and ORM data in the GRC system for reporting.
• Designs and implements reports and tools to support risk activities.
• Prepares program reports and presentations for management and governance committees.
• Provides updates on key risk initiatives to executives.
• Maintains punctuality, follows policy, and performs other risk-related duties as needed.
