Job summary

Dungarvin in Minnesota is seeking an Operational Program Director (OPD) to lead and coordinate programs for individuals with ID, DD, mental health needs, or autism spectrum conditions. The role blends direct care with supervisory duties to ensure high-quality services.

The OPD must manage on-call responsibilities, schedule flexibility, and staff orientation, with a focus on compliant operations and staff development. A strong leadership background in human services is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field is preferred.
• Designated Manager status per 245D licensing requirements.
• Three years of experience supervising staff in the human service field.
• Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check.
• Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift and transfer.
• Be able to transport persons served.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for some programs).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate overall programs serving individuals with ID, DD, mental health, medical needs, or autism spectrum.
• Balance direct care with supervisory duties.
• Ensure shifts are staffed by qualified personnel and oriented to perform their jobs.
• Be on-call as needed and follow wage/salary policy.
