Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group seeks an Operational Analyst to join our Client's team in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on standardizing processes, extracting data, and delivering PowerBI-driven performance reports to support operational decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform in-depth analyses of workflows, and translate findings into actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and mission alignment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT/operations/analytical experience.
• 2+ years extracting, consolidating, and analyzing operational data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (existing or obtained).
• Hands-on experience developing PowerBI reports.
• SQL querying to extract, filter, and aggregate data from relational DBs.
• Willingness to learn dashboard design in BMC Helix.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and root causes.
• General knowledge of enterprise environments.
• ITIL Certification (ITIL Foundations) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and documentation.
• Extract and aggregate operational information to establish performance benchmarks.
• Author and publish structured performance reports using PowerBI.
• Analyze operational workflows to support informed decision-making.
