Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking an Operational Analyst to join our Client's team.
Description of Duties:
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and maintain standardized processes and technical documentation.
- Extract and aggregate operational information from multiple different sources of information to establish performance benchmarks and key operational measures.
- Author, publish, and maintain structured performance reports as a citizen developer using PowerBI to showcase operational health.
- Conduct comprehensive, in-depth analysis of operational workflows and mission-critical information to support informed decision-making.
- Apply intuitive analytical skills to identify systemic trends, pinpoint underlying causes of operational issues, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration across diverse teams to ensure mission alignment and operational synergy.
Basic Requirements:
- Must have 4, or more, years of general IT, operations, or analytical work experience.
- Must have 2, or more, years of direct experience extracting, consolidating, and analyzing operational information utilizing multiple data sources.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Requirements:
- Have hands-on experience developing and distributing performance reports using PowerBI.
- Be proficient in writing SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from relational databases.
- Have the ability and willingness to learn dashboard design and development in BMC Helix.
- Have strong intuitive analysis skills with a proven track record of identifying trends and performing root-cause analysis.
- Have general knowledge of Enterprise Environments.
- Have an ITIL Certification (such as ITIL Foundations).
