Synergy Search is conducting a confidential search for a Financial Operations Manager on behalf of a PE backed healthcare services organization that is scaling fast. You will own the monthly close and reporting cycle for the division, lead the accounting team behind it, and act as the finance voice in the room with senior operations leadership.

Qualificações

• Experience managing a team of accountants.
• Public accounting foundation with move into industry finance.
• Depth to review the close and supervise accountants.
• Experience supporting an operations team.
• Comfortable owning a recurring monthly reporting cadence.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, modeling).
• Ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the month-end close and monthly reporting for the division.
• Review the work of a Senior and Staff Accountant and coach them.
• Lead budgets and forecasts, and hold the business accountable to them.
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective action in plain language.
• Partner daily with operations leaders on cost, performance, and resourcing decisions.
• Challenge assumptions and have direct conversations with non-financial stakeholders.
• Build ad hoc models and reporting for leadership questions.
• Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and efficiency across the division.
