Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Process Improvement Consultant to join the Operational Excellence (OPEX) Team.

You will act as a local expert to drive productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency improvements across an assigned distribution center and partner with cross-functional teams to implement major initiatives. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, change management, and the use of Lean, Kaizen, and Agile methodologies to optimize warehouse operations and sustain a culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business or related field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Kaizen Leader certification highly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, operations management, or supply chain analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support network-wide process improvement strategies across an assigned portfolio of distribution centers.
• Serve as the local subject matter expert for process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Total Quality Management, Agile Manufacturing and Scrum).
• Analyze operational data, workflows, and performance metrics to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities in receiving, picking, packing, shipping and Quality and Inventory Control.
• Lead, coach and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analysis workshops.
• Develop and implement action plans to address process gaps and bottlenecks.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to productivity, quality, and cost; communicate trends to site leadership.
• Leverage Power BI and Excel to support data-driven decision making.
• Train and mentor site personnel on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
