Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor to oversee multiple production lines and ensure efficient facility operations. You will manage staff, schedules, and vacations, while driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement across the shop floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and deployment of process improvements, with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting production commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; CAPA/root‑cause analysis.
• Project management experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff.
• Administers policies and procedures and ensures compliance.
• Manages employee schedules and performance discussions.
• Leads process improvement projects and drives continuous improvement.
• Provides coaching and development for direct reports and staff.
• Analyzes time studies and capacity to forecast staffing needs.
