Job summary

STORD is seeking an Operations Manager – Operational Excellence (OPEX) to build leadership capability across our fulfillment network. You will travel to sites, embed in centers, and deliver immersive coaching to develop Area Managers and Operations Managers for ongoing excellence.

The role emphasizes standardized operating practices, continuous improvement, and scalable processes across multiple facilities, with focus on training and real-time feedback to improve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a high‑volume, direct‑to‑consumer warehouse or fulfillment environment.
• Experience as an Operations Manager or Senior Manager with direct reports.
• Track record in training, mentoring, coaching, or developing warehouse leadership.
• Strong operational knowledge across labor management, inventory management, quality, and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites across the network to support leader training and system navigation.
• Embed within fulfillment centers to provide coaching and development for managers.
• Assess leadership capability and identify gaps to build targeted development plans.
• Provide training across labor management, productivity, and daily reporting.
• Lead by example in executing core processes and maintaining KPI alignment.
• Act as interim Operations Manager when needed during transitions or gaps.
• Develop standardized operating procedures and best practices across the network.
• Partner with HR, Safety, Training, Engineering and other teams to ensure alignment.
