Wabash is looking for an Operations Manager to lead the shop floor, drive Lean initiatives, and optimize quality and cost. You will supervise staff, partner with sales and customers, and implement systems that improve efficiency across multiple areas.

Strong leadership, analytical abilities, and SAP proficiency are essential. You will develop budgets, mentor teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering measurable performance improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing

Formación

• 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and cost optimization.
• Proficient with Windows-based software and business systems.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for all operational activities within the assigned area or facilities
• Plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of the assigned area of responsibility
• Analyzes and documents business processes and problems using Lean principles to reduce operational costs
• Supervises staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Participates in hiring and orientation of new staff
• Establishes internal goals and metrics and meets those in the assigned area
• Budgets development support for annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts
• Coaches and develops team
• Communicates effectively with all areas of the company and customers
• Schedules and conducts department meetings
• Provides timely business reporting
• Other duties as assigned
