Job summary

DNV is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive the adoption and deployment of the OEx framework within the DDS business. You will collaborate with software, product, customer success, and operations leaders to identify opportunities and embed a culture of continual improvement.

You will lead problem-solving sessions, apply Lean tools, and help teams deliver higher quality, efficiency, and customer value, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Operational Excellence in digital/software environments.
• Ability run structured problem-solving workshops.
• Experience coaching teams in continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and sustainment of DNV's Operational Excellence framework across DDS.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities with leaders and teams.
• Facilitate structured problem-solving workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply Lean principles, standard work, visual management, and root-cause analysis.
• Coach managers and teams in Operational Excellence practices and methods.
• Ensure local practices align with global standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Track improvement activities, share lessons learned, and support benefit realization.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve processes across DDS.
• Deliver Operational Excellence training sessions and awareness activities.
• Escalate risks and blockers in a timely manner.
