Job summary

ProAmpac in West Covina, CA seeks a Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager to champion quality, food safety, Lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives that impact safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.

You will partner across Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service to help our facility perform at its best every day, mentoring teams and driving measurable improvements. Annual compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience in engineering/related field.
• 3+ years leading Quality, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI, and audit processes.
• Experience in flexible packaging, food packaging, or consumer products manufacturing preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, SQF Practitioner, HACCP, or ASQ certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance, quality control, and food safety programs.
• Drive compliance with customer requirements, GMPs, regulatory standards, and quality systems.
• Lead audits, CAPA processes, customer complaint investigations, and corrective actions.
• Analyze trends, eliminate recurring issues, and elevate customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers as a trusted quality leader.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Facilitate Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, and Rapid Improvement Workshops.
• Deploy DMAIC, A3, Fishbone Analysis, 5 Whys, SPC, and FMEA.
• Deliver measurable productivity improvements and sustainable cost savings.
• Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders.
