Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant to join a premier management consultancy in Welkom, Free State. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, diagnosing bottlenecks, and guiding change initiatives onsite for diverse clients.

You will lead lean and Six Sigma projects, develop business cases, mentor client teams, and drive measurable improvements while collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. This is a hands-on, results-oriented consultancy opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in operational consulting or process improvement.
• Proven Lean and Six Sigma experience with CI mindset.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Welkom region.
• Proactive team player with project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed operational assessments and performance analyses.
• Identify inefficiencies and costs in business processes.
• Design and implement optimized workflows and procedures.
• Lead projects on lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Develop business cases and track ROI of changes.
• Train client personnel on new processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adoption.
• Prepare reports and presentations on findings.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and support.
• Contribute to the client’s operational excellence practice.
