Placements24 is looking for a Senior Consultant specializing in Business Process Optimization in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will lead engagements, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements using Lean and Six Sigma, while guiding change management and client teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 6+ years in management consulting or senior process-improvement roles, with strong analytical and stakeholder-management capabilities. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in management consulting or senior roles focused on business process improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent project management and client management capabilities.
• Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to drive change management initiatives.
• Experience working within the South African business context, ideally with exposure to the Eastern Cape region.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model, balancing office and client-site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on analyzing and optimizing business processes across client functions.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within client operations.
• Develop and implement tailored process improvement strategies using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support process changes and drive adoption.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong working relationships with client teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Measure and report on the impact of process optimization initiatives, demonstrating ROI.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for further client support.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise in business process improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends relevant to Queenstown, Eastern Cape.
