Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC is seeking a mid-career operational estimator to join a growing nuclear market team. You will support quantity takeoffs, estimating, schedule support, and change order preparation, with daily site attendance required.

The role requires 3–5 years in estimating and a Construction/Engineering degree, strong MS Office and analytical skills, and the ability to travel and pass background checks for SRS access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in estimating and quantity takeoffs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong mathematical and computer skills.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret RFPs, specifications, and drawings.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, estimating, pricing, and change proposal development.
• Conduct site walks as needed to support estimating and change proposals.
• Support preconstruction efforts, including Class 3/4/5 estimates and value engineering.
• Coordinate with estimators and engineers to provide constructability input.
• Participate in planning sessions with estimators and engineers/designers.
