Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking Estimating professionals to develop discipline estimates for large nuclear projects. You’ll perform takeoffs, cost analysis, and prepare bid materials, with emphasis on accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering / Technology or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years in heavy industrial construction.
• Mechanical, electrical, and/or civil/structural experience desired.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP to determine scope of work and estimate requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoff development from drawings and specs.
• Develop estimates to support proposals and bid submittals.
• Determine direct costs for self-performed construction work.
• Analyze crew structures for labor market rates and development.
• Learn and become expert with InEight Estimating software.
• Align bid packages to proposal requirements before subcontractor submissions.
• Assist Lead Estimator in risk analysis and cost review.
