Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Operational Controls to lead a team across GTM Operations, driving process safety, AMOC governance, and event evaluation.

You will oversee risk-based changes, improve tooling, and ensure timely, actionable reporting and learning across the organization. The role requires engineering education with substantial experience in high-hazard environments, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across Operations, Engineering, and Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in natural gas transmission, midstream, pipeline, compression, or high-hazard environment.
• Knowledge of process safety principles and hazard reviews (HAZOP, LOPA, PHA).
• Experience with management of change processes and enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, workload prioritization, coaching, and development for Direct reports within Operational Controls.
• Govern AMOC processes, including requirements, roles, decisions, quality, and consistent application across GTM Operations.
• Lead execution of complex high-risk AMOC activities from development to post-implementation verification.
• Improve AMOC tools, templates, workflows, dashboards, and guidance for better data quality and usability.
• Translate process safety expectations into practical operational controls and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee Process Hazard Assessments and ensure action tracking with Operations, Engineering, Projects, and SMEs.
• Support event evaluation, notifications, classification, escalation, and trend analysis for continuous improvement.
• Support turnover activities and reporting of GTM Operations performance metrics.
