Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX invites you to lead a growing analytics team as Manager, Operational Analytics. You will turn complex data into clear insights, support Service and Operations leaders, and help improve agent and customer experiences with practical recommendations.

You will develop analysts into trusted partners, guide priorities, promote responsible AI and self‑service analytics, and collaborate with leadership to align analytics with business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of related experience, or twelve+ years total education and experience.
• Experience in operational analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, decision support.
• Proven success leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and leadership communications.
• Experience allocating resources based on value, urgency, effort, risk, and alignment.
• Proficiency with Excel and data-visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analytics professionals.
• Partner with Service and Operations leaders to frame analytical questions.
• Deliver dashboards, forecasting tools, analytical investigations, and self-service solutions.
• Move beyond reporting by identifying trends, evaluating implications, and actionable recommendations.
• Own intake and prioritization of analytics requests balancing immediate needs and longer-term initiatives.
• Establish standards for analytical quality, data validation, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify work and responsibly apply AI-enabled tools.
• Communicate priorities and findings to technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
