Resources Global Professionals in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Operational Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, cash management and operational reporting. The role links finance, operations and stakeholders to ensure accurate data and controls.

You will work with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, MS Dynamics), prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and assist audits. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate, public, or consulting settings.
• Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge and close experience.
• Experience with GL, reconciliations, and audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash management, fixed assets and accruals.
• Assist with cash flow reporting, forecasting and treasury activities.
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure proper accounting transactions.
