Job summary

Resources Global Professionals (RGP) is seeking an Operational Accountant to support accounting and financial operations across the organization. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, process efficiency, and strong internal controls, interacting with finance, operations, and business stakeholders.

The position offers a W2 hourly rate of $50–$70/hr; DOE, with potential for hybrid onsite in Indianapolis and opportunities to contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, cash

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years in corporate, public accounting or consulting accounting.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and close accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
• Support audits and improve internal controls.
