Job summary

State of North Carolina - Department of Information Technology is hiring an Operating Systems Software Programmer I (NS) in North Carolina. The role is part of the Enterprise Active Directory Service (EADS) team responsible for day-to-day administration of a multi-site AD and Entra cloud environment.

Required: degree in CS/IT or related field with progressive experience in systems software programming; strong AD/Entra/Azure knowledge and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field and three years of progressive experience in systems software programming or
• Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field and four years of progressive experience in systems software programming
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Entra/Azure environments is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage ServiceNow incidents and requests with customers to triage and resolve Identity Management issues
• Maintain and manage the full lifecycle of directory objects
• Provide tactical recommendations to ensure 24×7 environments are stable and available
