Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced IT professional to manage Active Directory and EntraID synchronization from Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on AD infrastructure, hybrid directory integration, and enterprise app registrations within a contract engagement.

The candidate will coordinate with application teams, manage Azure roles, and mentor junior staff while following industry best practices and security controls.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Active Directory infrastructure and services.
• Experience with EntraID/Azure AD synchronization.
• Ability to coordinate with application teams for role needs.
• Strong collaboration with technology management engineers and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Active Directory infrastructure and services.
• Facilitate hybrid synchronization between Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Ensure non-service account AD identities are synchronized with Azure AD.
• Provide support for enterprise applications and app registrations.
• Maintain and manage Azure-specific roles (e.g., Global Reader, Directory Reader).
• Coordinate with application teams for role-specific needs.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers and staff.
• Review documentation proposals and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
