Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is hiring a Technician - Turnover Team to support OR operations in a PRN capacity. You will transport patients, specimens, and supplies, assist in sterile setup, and help maintain an efficient, safe surgical environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with physicians, nurses, and the surgical team. Prior OR turnover experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in operating room support or turnover is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and nurses.
• Detail-oriented with sterile techniques.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and assist in turnover tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients within the surgical area and assist in OR turnover.
• Transport specimens and supplies to the OR as required.
• Assist in preparing sterile trays and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain clean, sterile OR environments and reduce turnover times.
• Assist the surgical team during cases and position patients.
