Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Technician - Turnover Team to transport patients, specimens, and sterile supplies within the operating rooms. You will support the OR team, maintain sterile environments, and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Ability to stand frequently and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients from units to holding PAU and from PAU to the OR.
• Transport specimens to the lab and deliver blood products as needed.
• Transport sterile trays and equipment and inspect sterile packages.
• Assist OR team in preparing for surgical cases and organizing supplies.
