Qualifications

• High school diploma required and completion of an accredited OR technician program.
• Current AST certification and BLS certification are required.
• Ability to prepare operating rooms and work within sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff with scrub duties during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support infection control practices throughout procedures.
• Handle and pass instruments with precision and attention to detail.
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
