RWJBarnabas Health in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Surgical Tech I, OR to join the Operating Room team. The role supports the surgeon and RN, ensuring sterile, safe patient care from pre-op through post-op in a fast-paced environment.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and an OR technician program, with 2–3 years of experience across diverse service lines. Weekend and shift coverage apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an OR Technician training program.
• 2–3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in scrubbing multiple service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma.

Responsibilities

• A member of the surgical team, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, delivering patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and RNs to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique and support intraoperative activities.
