Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth seeks a Team Leader for the Operating Room. The role covers Ortho Spine service with 40 hpw across 10-hour shifts from 6:50 am to 5:20 pm, Monday through Saturday with on-call responsibilities. The RN will assess patients, supervise care, and coordinate multidisciplinary teamwork to ensure optimal perioperative outcomes.

Qualifications include an active Massachusetts RN license, BLS, and CNOR within two years. ACLS is strongly suggested.

Qualifikationen

• Evidence of CNOR or willingness to obtain CNOR within 2 years.
• 3–5 years experience circulating and scrubbing in surgical settings.
• Proactive interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assess and coordinate nursing care for patients in the OR.
• Supervise and mentor OR RNs; lead team in orthopedics spine service.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient surgeries.
• Manage educational programs, in-services, and performance improvement activities.
• Provide patient and family education and ensure evidence-based practice.
