Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse Team Leader in the Operating Room in Plymouth, MA. This full-time, day shift (40 hours) role requires leadership, patient care coordination, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia and OR staff.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure in MA, 3–5 years of OR experience with circulation and scrub skills, and must pursue CNOR within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CNOR certification within 2 years of appointment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and CEU accrual.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status within surgical specialty.
• Plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care for all assigned patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, OR staff and vendors.
• Mentor and educate OR RNs; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain equipment, preference cards and inventory; update as needed.
