The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) operates a busy Main Operating Room with 21 OR suites, covering trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro and more. The CST I/II roles support sterile prep, room turnover, and patient care in a Magnet-designated department.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and at least two years of OR experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in an operating room setting.

Aufgaben

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures as part of the OR team.
• Follow procedural guidelines to ensure patient safety and care.
