The Medical University of South Carolina is hiring Certified Surgical Technologists for the Main Operating Room. The roles include preparing sterile supplies, assisting in the OR, and supporting patient care under supervision.

Rotating shifts with 36 hours per week and weekend/call expectations are described. Qualifications include a CST credential, BLS, and completion of an accredited CST program with at least two years of OR experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience within an operating room setting.

Responsabilités

• CST I: prepare sterile supplies and equipment and perform room duties with patient care under supervision.
• CST II: follow established guides to prepare supplies, perform room duties, and function autonomously.

Formation
