Yale New Haven Health in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Surgical Technician/L.P.N. to join the Operating Room team. You will assist with patient care, prepare and maintain sterile and unsterile supplies, and support the surgeon and nursing staff throughout procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified technician program preferred or PN license.
• Operating room experience with advanced education.
• National Certification as Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for the delivery of quality patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assists with the transportation of patients to and from the O.R.
• Assists with the preparation of equipment and supplies required for the surgical procedure.
• Plans for and coordinates supplies and equipment for intra operative use.
• Participates as a team member in the implementation of the patients' plan of care.
• Demonstrates proficiency with procedures and equipment appropriate to the O.R. as demonstrated by the skills check list.
• Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality at all times according to hospital standards.
• Supports age-appropriate care across the life span and follows unit policies.
