Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up surgical instruments, equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions before operations.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and prepares skin, body, and medical equipment.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and checks functionality.
• Gets patients ready for surgery and transports to the operating room.
• Observes vital signs and assists with gowns and gloves.
• Passes instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Help transfer patients to recovery and restock the operating room.
