Qualifications

• Technical school graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification by hire or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub during operative and invasive procedures; assemble supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations.
• Maintain an organized sterile field and ensure field sterility; assist with draping and instrument transfer.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover; participate in education and competency activities.
