Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Operating Room. This full-time day-shift role covers four 10-hour shifts with weekly on-call and a weekend block every 6–7 weekends.

A sign-on bonus of $8,000 is offered for eligible external candidates joining our team. The role involves direct patient care, assisting the surgeon and team during procedures, and maintaining strict sterile technique to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Surgical tech program completed with active NBSTSA/JCAHPO/NCCT certification.
• Armed forces or Public Health Service training with CE requirements.
• Grandfathered work experience with required continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and team during procedures with instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries.
• Provide direct patient care and support the surgical team.
