Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Perioperative Support Technician to prepare OR rooms, transport patients and equipment, and assist the surgical team behind the scenes. This role contributes to a clean, efficient operating environment that supports patient care excellence.

Two years of Surgical Aide experience are preferred; strong infection control, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ Surgical Aide experience preferred.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and devices; experience with surgical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR rooms with instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with safe transport of patients and equipment.
• Perform turnover and terminal cleaning of OR suites; keep details spotless.
• Support the surgical team during procedures; ensure seamless operation.
• Stock anesthesia carts and maintain surgical equipment.
• Contribute to infection control and quality improvement processes.
