Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a dedicated RN to provide individualized perioperative nursing care in a hospital setting. The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate orders implementation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact with Montana authorization
• 1+ year RN experience in hospital, clinic, or physician office
• Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification as required by service line
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory and standards of practice
• Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and confidentiality requirements
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
• Maintain high patient safety and infection control standards
• Transcribe and implement verbal/written provider orders
• Monitor, assess and report changes in patient conditions
• Coordinate timely interventions during surgical procedures
• Document encounters clearly per policy and standards
• Educate patients and families about surgical care and recovery
• Remain calm during changing workloads and coordinate care with the team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support outcomes
• Maintain regular attendance as scheduled by leadership
