Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum age 17.
• Successful completion of an OR-sponsored orientation; one year of clinical OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up assigned operating rooms by obtaining equipment, sterile supplies, and positioning aids.
• Assists in patient care by transporting, lifting, positioning patients and applying cast materials.
• Maintains clean, orderly ORs and ensures proper supply levels and aseptic techniques.
• Contacts surgical team via phone or intercom and coordinates with Sterile Processing and other departments.
• Performs other duties to support department operations and staff onboarding.
