Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to support the surgical team and anesthesia providers. The role involves handling anesthesia equipment, assisting with patient care, and ensuring sterile processing and readiness of supplies in a high‑acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college/technical program such as LPN, Paramedic or EMT; internal candidates with HS diploma + 1–3 years may be considered.
• Cer.A.T.T. certification preferred; must be completed within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care as directed by circulating nurse and physician.
• Follows safety standards for patients, family and staff.
• Assists with placement of monitoring equipment (EKG leads, BP cuff, SPO2).
• Sets up and assists with central line insertion.
• Performs sterilization and record keeping for autoclave supplies.
