Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to support the surgical team by preparing equipment and supplies, turning rooms between procedures, and performing routine cleaning of operating rooms and common areas. The role also includes transporting case carts, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring a sanitary, orderly hospital environment.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification within 30 days, and at least six months in direct patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months experience in direct patient care is preferred.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) within 30 days of start date is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning of operating rooms and common areas.
• Transport case carts and supplies to and from the OR and other areas.
• Assist in maintaining sterility and infection control practices.
• Support nurses and clinicians in patient positioning and care as directed.
