Memorial Hermann Katy is seeking a team-minded professional to prepare patients and the environment for surgery, supporting the medical and nursing team. Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00 am - 7:30 PM with call at Memorial Hermann Katy.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), three+ years in an operating room, ability to read/write English, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. This role emphasizes safe patient care, teamwork, and efficient operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in an operating room environment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and read/write in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with physical preparation of patient and environment per patient needs.
• Transports and transfers patients between departments as needed.
• Demonstrates leadership and adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensures safe care and supports time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
• Promotes professional growth by meeting requirements for continuing education; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource.
• Models Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.
