Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN) to join the Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy team. The RN OR Circulator will position, prep, and circulate cases across ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Urology procedures in a 4-OR facility with 2 treatment rooms.

Candidates must have an unrestricted Texas RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of circulating experience.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.
• 2 years' experience working as a circulator in multi-specialty ORs required; General surgery a plus.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case during surgery.
• Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Provide excellent customer service and adapt to changes in the surgical schedule.

USPIMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Katy is seeking a motivatedOperating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Plastic, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Job Summary:

The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

• Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call
• Four (4) Ten (10) Hour Shifts Available

Required Skills:
