Emerson Hospital's Surgical Services team seeks an Operating Room Assistant to support patient transportation, room turnover, and supply management in a fast-paced OR setting.

Reporting to the RN Manager, you will help with patient movement, specimen transport, and maintaining a clean, organized environment while protecting patient confidentiality and following infection control standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport patients within the operating room and hospital
• Communicate patient information to the registered nurse and surgical team
• Assist with operating room turnover, including cleaning and preparing rooms for procedures
• Transport specimens to appropriate laboratory locations in a timely manner
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of surgical and departmental supplies
• Support general unit operations, including relaying messages and assisting clinical staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control standards
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
