Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• BLS (Provider) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Previous hospital experience in transport or Environmental Service is preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports surgical specimens and blood products as required and logs transport actions.
• Transports soiled and clean case carts and instruments to appropriate OR areas.
• Transports surgical patients and assists in patient handling as directed by nursing staff.
• Assists in readiness of surgical supplies and room setup; maintains clean and orderly work areas.
