Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• BLS (Provider) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Previous hospital experience in transport or Environmental Service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport surgical patients to recovery and between OR and nursing units.
• Assist with movement of equipment and supplies in the OR.
• Transport specimens and blood products; log and track items.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of OR areas and equipment.
• Assist in patient handling and positioning under supervision.
