Job summary

Responsibilities

• Cleans the surgical suite and equipment daily.
• Restocks OR and anesthesia supplies before, during and after procedures.
• Supports the clinical practice of the OR team in various settings.
• Prioritizes and adjusts work to the daily surgical schedule.
• Prepares for and assists with inserting patient access lines.
• Supports care of cardiac patients in the OR.
• Performs daily quality control testing on OR equipment.
• Follows infection control, safety and risk management policies.
• Serves as a preceptor for new Perioperative Surgical Assistants.
