Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior OR cleaning/disinfecting experience preferred.
• CPR training on the job provided.
• Ability to safely handle PHI and follow UH policies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate efficient turnover of operating rooms between cases.
• Transport patients, trays, blood gases, specimens and equipment.
• Support operative team with requests during cases.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate to enhance patient care and daily operations.
• Participate as a productive member of the OR Assistant team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
